Looking for an all-natural kidney stone breaker that dissolves kidney stones naturally and fast? You want Chanca Piedra.

You’re experiencing severe abdominal pain that’s radiating to your lower back. You may also notice blood in your urine and a persistent need to urinate, even though you can urinate only small amounts at a time. Not wanting to use medications or surgery to treat your kidney stones, you start to look for an all-natural kidney stone breaker that can dissolve kidney stones naturally and fast.

An All-Natural Herbal Kidney Stone Breaker That Works

Let’s say you have one or more kidney stones lodged in the kidney and you want to flush them out fast — and with as little pain as possible. Try drinking a tea made with Chanca Piedra or incorporating Chanca Piedra extract into your diet.

Chanca Piedra is a marvel of a plant, and it’s known throughout South America as a kidney stone breaker. The name Chanca Piedra is Spanish for Stone Breaker, and scientists around the world have praised the use of this herbal remedy to provide kidney stone relief. The analgesic compounds in Chanca Piedra help ease pain while passing stones, smooth the spiky stones, and reduce them in size so the particles can pass through your urine stream easily. Chanca Piedra also builds a defense system, which reduces the reoccurrence of kidney stones.

How Does Chanca Piedra Work as a Kidney Stone Breaker?

Chanca Piedra is a kidney stone breaker, though technically it doesn’t “break” the kidney stone. Instead of smashing the stone, its solution is more effective – and more elegant. Chanca Piedra stops the collection of calcium in the kidney, smooths the surface of the stone, and reduces the size of the stone.

More particularly, Chanca Piedra has a number of helpful mechanisms that block the formation of oxalate crystals in the kidneys. One of the most interesting mechanisms is the ability to recruit glycosaminoglycans, blending them into the crystal (now less crystaline) matrix. This results in smaller, more amorphous accretions vs. true crystals, which are larger and more jagged.

Chanca Piedra is also a natural diuretic and a smooth muscle relaxant specific to the renal system. In other words, it stops the spasms related to the pain of the stone and makes you want to urinate. Ultimately, you pass the stone with less pain or in some cases no pain.

Does Chanca Piedra Go by Other Names?

The Latin name of Chanca Piedra is Phyllanthus niruri. Phyllanthus niruri is traditionally used in Andean medicine systems to support treatment for chronic illnesses and ailments like kidney stones. It grows naturally along the Amazon river in Peru. Phyllanthus health benefits are many. It has 100+ bioactive compounds. It’s a powerful antioxidant, a nootropic, and the world’s best synergistic adaptogen.

First thing’s first: the common name “Chanca Piedra” has been applied to at least three different plants: Phyllanthus niruri (from Peru), Phyllanthus amarus (from India), and Phyllanthus urinaria (from southeast Asia). The Chanca Piedra that’s most effective as a kidney stone break is Phyllanthus niruri, which comes from the Amazon region of Peru.

It’s important to remember that all Chanca Piedra is not the same. And it’s important to know which Phyllanthus you’re buying — and where it’s coming from.

Where Should I Get Chanca Piedra?

If “Chanca Piedra” is grown in or sold from southeast Asia or India, it’s a different plant than the highly beneficial Phyllanthus niruri grown in Peru. It’s a different species grown in different terroir, it offers different health benefits, and it’s less beneficial as a kidney stone breaker. Some suppliers may not know the difference and may assume that all plants of the Phyllanthus genus are the same no matter where they’re grown. When you point out that it’s a different plant, some suppliers may even get defensive or dismissive. You’re wrong, they might tell you. It’s the same plant regardless where it’s grown anywhere in the world.

Now, let’s say you’re getting real Phyllanthus niruri from Peru (as you should). The next step is to make sure you’re buying from a reputable supplier. The plant is abundantly available in wild form over large tracts of land, and the commercial bulk of Phyllanthus niruri represents a heterogeneous population. Consequently, poor quality roots and biomass often result.

Make sure you choose a trusted supplier.

How Much Chanca Piedra Should I Take?

A couple Chanca Piedra capsules won’t do the trick. A couple whole herb capsules simply don’t contain the amount of Chanca Piedra needed to work as a kidney stone breaker. In fact, two capsules are equivalent to roughly 1 gram, which is only about 8% of the daily amount you need.

Chanca Piedra herbal tea or herbal extract is much better than capsules. For one thing, it’s better to make a decoction of the plant that successfully extracts key phytoconstituents in a way that your digestive system simply cannot. For another, drinking 32 ounces of the tea made from extract each day helps you reach the recommended daily water intake needed when dealing with kidney stones.

How Long Should I Take Chanca Piedra?

For kidney stones, you should drink Chanca Piedra (Phyllanthus niruri) kidney stone breaker tea or extract three times a day until you pass the stone or until your symptoms disappear.

Chanca Piedra looseleaf instructions: Make a decoction using 3/4 of a cup (1/2 ounce) of looseleaf tea to 30oz of water. A 500g bag will make about 90 servings.

Chanca Piedra concentrate (extract) instructions: Consume 3/4 of a teaspoon (3 grams) three times a day. Mix in the non-dairy drink of your choice. For example, blend 3 grams into a smoothie, add 3 grams to a large mug of tea, or dissolve 3 grams into 16oz of water. A 200g bag will make about 66 servings.

How Can I Prevent Kidney Stones without Needing a Kidney Stone Breaker?

Once the stone has left the kidney, scale back to just one cup of Chanca Piedra (Phyllanthus niruri) tea per day.

Halting the formation of kidney stones in the future begins with dietary and behavioral changes. These change include things like decreasing sodium intake, drinking more water to stay properly hydrated, and eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. It also includes continuing to drink Chanca Piedra tea periodically for kidney stone breaker maintenance.
